Executive Director
Hannah is an adaptable creative leader, lifelong learner, and nonprofit professional who lets her passion for uplifting others center her work. She thrives on collaborative efforts and desires to make change through fresh perspectives and meaningful connections. She believes that true success blossoms from a holistic foundation, and that trust, authenticity, and cultural competence are the root of community transformation.
Hannah graduated from the University of Northern Iowa ('21) earning a B.A. in Recreation, Tourism, & Nonprofit Leadership, a minor in International Relations, a certificate in Global Health & Humanitarian Assistance, and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional.

Development & communications manager
Passion for Waterloo and public education lead Skylar in her role supporting the WSF. As a Cedar Valley transplant, Skylar prides herself in being part of a community that wholeheartedly supports public education and recognizes the unique impact the Waterloo Schools has on their students. Skylar sparks creativity and structure within our organization while cultivating authenticity and meaningful connections.
Skylar graduated from the University of Northern Iowa ('22) earning a B.A. in Marketing: Digital Media & Advertising and a BA in Human Resource Management, and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional.

Sarah is a Waterloo West High School senior and an intern at the Waterloo Community School Foundation. With an interest in business and design, Sarah assists with various foundation projects.
Currently taking classes at Waterloo West High School and the Waterloo Career Center, Sarah is gaining experience in applying academic knowledge to practical situations.
As a lifelong resident of the Cedar Valley, Sarah enjoys being involved in local community initiatives.
Through this internship, Sarah is learning about the workings of a non-profit community foundation while exploring potential career paths in business and design.
