Hannah
Luce

Executive Director

Hannah joined the Waterloo Schools Foundation team in August 2020 and began her role as the Executive Director in September 2021. She has a burning desire to ensure all students have the ability to grow, develop, and make their education their own. Her tangible passion for public education allows her to lead the WSF with grace, zest, and a

community-centered mindset.

 

Hannah graduated from the University of Northern Iowa ('21) earning a B.A. in Recreation, Tourism, & Nonprofit Leadership, a minor in International Relations, a certificate in Global Health & Humanitarian Assistance, and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional.

Skylar
Champalath

Development & Communications Manager

Skylar joined WSF in the February of 2023. Skylar's work with the Waterloo Schools Foundation brings together her passion for community involvement and marketing/communications. Residing in Waterloo for the last 4 years has led her to a passion for

making our area thrive.

 

Skylar has 2 bachelor's degrees - one in Digital Marketing & Advertising and one in Human Resource Management from UNI. She has superb knowledge in all things marketing as well as experience working with a non-profit that advocates and improves the lives of the Deaf, HoH, and individuals with hearing loss. Skylar specializes in all marketing, PR, design, and communication efforts for the Waterloo Schools Foundation.

KAELYN
RANEY

intern

Kaelyn joined the Waterloo Schools Foundation in January of 2024. Kaelyn is a senior at Waterloo East and is in both the health and business career paths at the Waterloo Career Center. She is currently with our team as an intern through the WCC’s work-based learning program.

Kaelyn has always wanted to find a way to give back to the community that has done so much for her and raised her. She hopes that through the Waterloo Schools Foundation, she can fuel more students' fire and give them the best educational opportunities possible. 

Kaelyn currently plans on attending the University of Northern Iowa in the fall to study kinesiology and sports management and marketing.
